2 weeks have past and I have officially finished learning the 五十音 (gojuuon), 濁音 (dakuon) and 半濁音 (handakuon) of the ひらがな (hiragana). So now, all notes are printed in hiragana/katakana/kanji and note-taking and homework is expected to be written in hiragana… which is a big ( Read more... )

Few lessons down, and I have not done a single recap, let alone post about my Tokyo trip. Gomennasai… have been too tied up with catching up on lost time. Here’s a recap on what I’ve learnt so far, and then I’ll do my Tokyo trip on a later date.

Second lesson moved on much faster than the first. Basically started off with revision or whatever was taught in the previous lesson, and then we had spelling/dictation test. Thank goodness sensei gave us a chance to revise before the test.
